Discover a different Provence during off season

Coming to the Provence during off-season lets you discover a complete different Provence. You can benefit from the exceptional soft climate. Experiencing the beautiful sunshine shining on the cosy villages blazing with autumn colors or the marvellous spring flavours, it’s simply breathtaking.

September - October:

It is the grape harvest season and there are numerous festivals and activities around the area. Everything is mellow and ripe. Grapes hang heavy on the vines in the warm pink glow of early autumn.
Around November 15 it is the festival of the early wines products, the wine fairs when the local shops and supermarkets have some amazing wine bargains.
Temperature: in general the temperature remains close to 24 degrees. The night are refreshing.

November - December:

Walkings under the blue sky, meals of hunting...
There are some excellent restaurants in the area, some of them in stunning locations. For around 20 Euros (plus wine ) you can eat very well although it is possible to find a pleasant meal for less. Temperature: temperature is still 10 to 20 degrees during the day.
The nights are cold: from +5 till -2°.
There is central heating in all the lodgings!

January - February - March:

Excursions, skiing, rackets, toboggan, ... are possible near the Mont Ventoux, only 45 minutes drive.
Temperature: temperature during the day between 10 and 18°.
It can snow in the period of Christmas and New-year.
The nights: 5 to -10°.
Rather dry period of time.

April - Mai:

May is certainly the most beautiful month. Long days, evening with barbecue, green hillsides with beautiful wildflowers, ideal for the families with young children.
The climate is just perfect for walking and for photographers. There are the beauty blooming land scented by honeysuckle, lavender, rose and jasmine, all these small signs which announce to the arrival of the beautiful days will make you forget the sad grey days of the winter.
It’s also is less crowded at this time of year and thus easier to visit places of interest.
May is also the time of bronzing.
The swimming pool is open on May 1st.
